The Windows Administrator is an enterprise technology professional within the Enterprise Infrastructure Practice who operates and maintains existing x86/x64 architectures and workloads and designs new or complementary solutions for future environments, implements solutions, and troubleshoots any health or performance issues during runtime operations. As part of the Enterprise Infrastructure team, the Windows Administrator will participate in system assessment and documentation of existing workloads across the Windows technical estate spanning on-premises and public cloud locations. The administrator will then participate in the ongoing operations and maintenance of those workloads during continuous operations in a manner that aligns with the companys service catalog. The Windows Administrator will concentrate on high-level server related duties such as system patching and other administrative tasks within the operating system stack, selection of physical/virtual/cloud replacement instances and assessment of transformation feasibility, lead troubleshooting activities for outages and/or performance issues during transformation projects. The administrator will review, analyze, and document system requirements and dependencies. The Windows Administrator will identify and document requirements, define project scope and objectives, and identify system modifications needed to support business requirements within their technical discipline. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Work with customers on data center maintenance activities to confirm (and document accordingly) Windows Systems and workloads, develop Functional Specifications. Independently manage all aspects related to Workload Integration projects. Serve as liaison between the customer, Account Team and the Datacenter Tower to communicate difficult concepts and processes. Work with vendors and contractors to define detailed technical requirements Participate in Application owner and Business User interviews to identify system functions and architectural and network related dependencies Execute Discovery activities to fully identify and document the existing Windows server inventory Work with the Datacenter Server Tower to develop and implement the appropriate solution for successful transformation Consult on complex business issues and design considerations Responsible for the identification and documentation of system requirements to enable the Service Delivery Team to deliver reliable and predictable availability of the Windows Inventory Participate in the development and execution of the user acceptance test plans Create new documentation and processes needed to help refine, optimize, and/or to establish network functions and processes
Education and Experience
Bachelors Degree in an Information Technology Discipline and 6 or more years professional experience 5+ years of Windows Administration Operating System-Microsoft Windows Client-Local and Network Installation, Internet explorer, TCP/IP, DHCP, Device Manager, Registry editor, User Manager, Admin Commands: 5+ years exp. In depth understanding of distributed networks Significant experience in the administration of SSL certs

Compensation
The starting pay range for this remote role is $90,000 to $130,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. Benefits
