Technical Trainer

As a Technical Trainer at Boston Dynamics, you will work as part of our Customer Learning & Development team to support Boston Dynamics training events. You will be responsible for conducting training both in-house or at customer locations, to a variety of audiences. Training attendees will range from internal Boston Dynamics colleagues to external Boston Dynamics product operators, stakeholders or trainers. To thrive in this role you must be experienced delivering technical subject matter to both technical and non-technical audiences. You are a self-starter who is not afraid to get your hands dirty, loves to learn new technologies, and can do so quickly, building strong relationships with a world-class engineering team to keep your pulse on product changes and enhancements. You are a passionate customer advocate, contributing Customer Voice to improve experiences with Boston Dynamics products. Your ideas change what robots can do! Responsibilities: Lead interactive training for commercially available BD product-lines. Design, maintain, and deliver instructor-led training to end-user customers, partners, and internal stakeholders for BD products, software, APIs and solution infrastructures. Assist in developing & maintaining technical training content, hands-on exercises, presentations, and accompanying materials. Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, effective training content while staying current on both hardware and software changes in a fast-paced, technical environment. Collect feedback to track knowledge retention and inform continuous improvement efforts. Qualifications: Experience as a trainer or teacher, with demonstrated success communicating complex technical subject matter to both technical and non-technical audiences. Exceptional communication skills and confidence engaging with customers and other stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to curate curriculum for supporting Instructor led training programs. Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, be a self-motivator with a passion for innovation and willingness to challenge the status quo in a positive and collaborative manner. Practical hands-on experience with mechanical or electrical systems, enterprise network environments and familiarity with Linux command line interface as well as Python or similar coding languages. Travel: Ability to travel around 40% of the time including international travel We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States.
