Join to apply for the Engineer Technician role at The Peninsula Hotels. Working alongside the Director of Engineering at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, the Engineer Technician is responsible for ensuring guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas are in good repair by performing carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and air conditioning tasks. Key Accountabilities Repair or replace items such as light bulbs, lamps, switches, outlets, faucets, toilets, hardware, filters, caulking, grouting, or other miscellaneous items. Perform daily inspections, maintenance, and repairs on plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and other hotel systems. Conduct preventive maintenance on guest rooms, common areas, and equipment such as refrigerators, ice machines, and exhaust fans.
General Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in maintenance, engineering, or a related field is preferred. 5+ years of experience in the maintenance engineering role in hotel settings, preferably luxury hotels or commercial buildings. Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and basic building maintenance procedures. Los Angeles CPO preferred. Ability to work independently and with a team. Must be able to work nights and weekends.
