Principal Systems Engineer with Security Clearance

Role: Principal Systems Engineer Client: Defense-Aerospace Pay Rate: up to $82/hr (W2, non-benefited) Length: 1-year Location: Tucson, AZ Clearance: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire Description: * Utilize your knowledge of models, simulations, test beds, prototypes, hardware integration, hardware manufacturing, warfighter (User) methodologies, embedded test protocols, and full-scale Engineering Development Models (EDM's) to ensure comprehensive lifecycle testing that is both robust and affordable. * Broad customer interaction including Department of Defense (DoD) contract work * Understand and define specialized capital investment needs. * Intense focus on "customer affordability', by using effective cost measurement techniques * Drive improvements in product affordability through increased built-in-test capabilities and decreased lifecycle * Mentor and guide team through new project implementation at the Integrated Product Team Lead level for a Major Development Acquisition Program (MDAP). Required Skills & Experience: * Systems Engineering experience in test requirements development, test planning, test techniques, test methodologies test requirements documents, embedded functional test, and integration, verification, and validation for test * Past experience demonstrating a systems engineering approach for all test-related activities throughout the product lifecycle. * Working knowledge of Systems Engineer standard views such as Block Diagram Definitions, Context Diagrams, Use Cases, Sequence Diagrams, Flow Diagrams * Knowledge of Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) * Experience with development, environmental, qualification, production, manufacturing operations testing * Experience in developing, decomposing, and managing systems requirements across a product lifecycle such as design and transition to production.
