The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of LasXs financial reporting. This individual will be responsible for overseeing core accounting operations, supporting audits, implementing process improvements, and providing financial insights to leadership. The Senior Accountant will collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and sales to align accounting practices with business objectives. Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies. Assist with external audits and coordinate required documentation.

General Ledger & Reconciliation

Manage journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. Review and maintain accurate balance sheet and income statement accounts. Ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes.

Accounts Payable & Receivable Oversight

Monitor and review AP/AR transactions to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Support collections, vendor payments, and expense reporting.

Cost Accounting & Operations Support

Partner with operations to analyze inventory, job costing, and margin performance. Support process improvements in cost tracking and allocation.

Process Improvement & Systems

Identify and implement efficiencies in accounting processes. Support ERP/accounting system optimization and reporting automation. Provide variance analysis and insights for management decision-making. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred). 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or technology-driven environment. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Experience with ERP/accounting systems like Monday.com. Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally.
