The Software Engineer will help build the Next Gen Applications & Products Suite. Responsibilities include designing, building, configuring, delivering, and maintaining scalable applications. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX designers, architects, principal engineers, software engineers, test automation, and DevOps teams. The engineer will participate in architectural design, system analysis, and programming, often requiring independent research. Developing high-quality, production-ready software using best practices in data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and frameworks is essential. The role emphasizes writing scalable, secure, and performant code, with responsibilities from conception to deployment and production support. Documentation of all developed components is mandatory. The engineer must test and ensure quality using test-driven development and automation frameworks. Experience with Oracle ADF (up to 12C), Oracle Fusion Middleware, Java, and Spring Boot is required. Telecommuting is permitted within the US. Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field plus six (6) years of relevant post-baccalaureate experience. Design and implement large-scale distributed systems using Oracle ADF 11g, 12c.
Develop business features with ADF Faces, ADF BC4J, ADF Task Flows, and ADF Bindings.
Develop applications in Java and Spring Boot.
Use Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines, automating testing and deployment.
Create robust web services using RESTful and SOAP protocols.
Work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Leverage Oracle Fusion Middleware for data flow and application connectivity.
Manage code with SVN and GIT, ensuring organized development processes.
Optimize queries and maintain data integrity using SQL with Oracle or MySQL databases.
