Field Application Specialist - Separation Technologies (Downstream Bioprocessing) - Remote IN, IL, OH, WI

Sartorius has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, self-motivated professional to support our customers and organization within the Central region (Chicago, Indianapolis, Madison, WI and Ohio) for Sartorius' Separation Technologies (downstream bioprocessing). In this remote position, the individual will be a trusted business partner to our customers. This is an exciting opportunity to join a global company known for a great culture, innovative products, and stability. Location: Remote: Illinois, Indianapolis, Madison, WI, Ohio. Responsibilities

Support the Sales organization on existing products through product presentations, demonstrations and application studies, and on new products in close collaboration with product management through beta sites testing and demonstrations. Support Sales in the customer process and URS analysis, and generate application trials to help designing optimized products in line with the application requirements. Assist customers with first product installation and initial start-up, and ensure the training of the customer. Support Quality Department in the quality complaint process by troubleshooting and analyzing customers processes for better investigation and resolution. Report on competitors' products and feedback information to the Application Specialist Team Management and products management. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in life/biological sciences, biological engineering or biotechnology. 2+ years industry experience in downstream bioprocessing (TFF, UF/DF, NFF, or viral filtration). Effectively interface with product/project/division management. Experience interacting at various levels (sales, technical, end-users, leaders) within internal structures and with customers. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Self-motivated and a self-starter; strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize projects and multitask at a high level of efficiency. Computer proficient in Windows-based software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Identification with our core values: Sustainability, Openness, Enjoyment. What We Offer
