ABOUT THE ROLE
The Plant Maintenance Laborer position is a hands-on role focused on ensuring cleanliness and maintenance within a plant setting.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
Conduct cleaning and housekeeping duties to enhance the aesthetics of the plant.
Perform regular inspections and complete checklists for various work areas.
Commit to following and promoting health, safety, and environmental policies. Cultivate a culture of safety in all operations.
Undertake additional tasks as needed to support plant operations.

Required Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent Required Work Experience:
1-2 years in a similar role Additional Requirements: Must be willing to work outdoors, at heights, in warm conditions, dusty environments, and confined spaces. Flexibility to work varying schedules and rotating shifts as necessary. High mechanical aptitude is preferred. Ability to thrive in a team-oriented atmosphere with strong mechanical knowledge, welding skills, and experience in heavy manufacturing. General labor skills, including lifting and transferring materials and tools, and cleaning duties. Proficient in using hand tools (drills, pneumatic tools, hammers, wrenches, etc.). Adherence to safety protocols and correct usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including respirators when required.
