The Project Manager will assist the Supervisor and Client Sponsor in the formulation and validation of project work plans, will monitor and influence the performance of the planning, engineering, design, and construction efforts in accordance with the plans, and will assist in data gathering and analysis for the reporting on the project progress, scheduled deliverables, and budget.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Make recommendations to the Supervisor and/or Client Sponsor to address project issues, inefficiencies, and concerns
Assist the Project Team in developing and scoping documents, schedules, deliverables, and cost estimates
Coordinate with supply chain and project stakeholders to make sure materials and equipment are delivered to the project per the schedule
Oversee the bid process, if needed and holds contractors accountable for the system safety process
Coordinate construction activities with the Clients project team
Coordinate activities required for successful installation of assigned projects under supervision of Program Manager and/or Client Sponsor
Work with Client Sponsor leadership to determine reporting requirements and provide reports on determined interval to support business needs
Oversee and ensure adherence to Clients internal processes as related to project management
Education and Experience Requirements Bachelors Degree in Business, Construction Management, Project Management, or Engineering (note: Engineering degrees must be from an ABET accredited university)
Three to seven years of experience in project management with capital projects
Three to seven years of experience interfacing with engineering procurement and construction personnel
Three to seven years of experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Requisite Abilities and Skills Demonstrate ability to manage time effectively and efficiently, show capable of having organizational and planning skills, as well as having an aptitude for accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication
Team player with ability to work in a highly cross-functional and virtual environment
Ability to plan, set, and achieve goals
Superior level of personal character and integrity
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $50.48/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
