Overview
Dwan Elevator is a leading provider of residential and commercial elevator solutions in the San Francisco Bay Area. We specialize in delivering high-quality installations, modernizations, repair, and maintenance services to enhance accessibility and value for our clients properties. Responsibilities Parts Management : Receive and inspect all parts deliveries for accuracy and damage, coordinate their placement, and notify relevant stakeholders. Warehouse Organization : Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse, stage parts for pickup, and ensure inventory areas are well-organized. Logistics Coordination : Coordinate forklift deliveries and internal movement of large parts, ensuring timely and accurate handoff to field technicians. Documentation : Record all parts-related and scheduling communications accurately for inventory tracking and reporting purposes. Administrative Support : Assist with basic office tasks, such as updating inventory records and supporting scheduling needs, as required. Additional Duties : Perform other warehouse-related tasks as assigned to support team and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Experience:
Basic familiarity with warehouse operations or parts handling (receiving, staging, tracking) or demonstrated aptitude to learn. Prior exposure to inventory or parts logistics is a plus. Experience in the elevator or field service industry is preferred but not required. Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree in logistics, business, or a related field is a plus. Skills: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting moderate loads and walking the warehouse floor. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Other Requirements: Forklift certification preferred but not required (training will be provided). Clean DMV record and valid California Drivers License.
Compensation
Base Salary: Competitive based on experience.
