Description
Summary
Receives shipments, verifies order accuracy, logs all deliveries and delivers products to different departments in the casino.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Moves or transports materials using a Forklift, hand truck and/or industrial trucks to move, convey, or hoist shipments from delivery trucks to storage or work area, and different departments. Responsible for safe operation of all receiving equipment. Checks deliveries to insure products meet quality standards. Receives, stores, and distributes products to correct location and/or department. Counts, sorts, and/or weighs incoming merchandise to verify receipt of items on invoices. Follows all safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines when handling, storing, and rotating products. Responsible for noting any damaged goods upon receipt and informing department of the conditions prior to departure of the delivery carrier. Receives notifies, and distributes all secured items, including Gaming Supplies, in accordance with Rolling Hills Casino's policies and procedures. Completes all receiving records, updates receiving files, and delivers invoices to proper personnel. Daily use of Worldship software to send out shipments. Fills orders or issues supplies from stock. Insure that Shipping and Receiving docks are cleaned and free of safety hazards. May be asked to assist in Monthly Inventory. Other duties may be assigned. Requirements

Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. One year minimum customer services experience required. Basic computer skills required. Knowledge of MS Office computer program preferred. Knowledge of standard purchasing, receiving policies and practices preferred.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend basic written English instructions, diagrams, and professional emails. Able to communicate clearly and effectively with vendors, departments, fellow co-workers and delivery personnel through various forms of communication.
Mathematical Skills
Must be able to perform simple arithmetic. Be able to find price and unit cost. Be able to use preset equations in spreadsheets.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in different aspects with both vendors and employees. Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out English instructions written, oral and in Email correspondence. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Must be able to work with minimal supervision, and take proper initiative in all areas of responsibility.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Gaming license issued by the Paskenta Gaming Commission. Valid California driver's license. Forklift Certification preferred. Have or obtain Food Handler's permit from a relevant government agency.
