Are you looking for an exciting opportunity that blends administrative work with the exciting and ever-changing world of construction? Shawmuts Project Administrators support project managers by coordinating schedules, managing project documents, processing contracts and invoices, and maintaining project records to ensure efficient and compliant project execution. Schedule, prepare and participate in all (construction) project meetings. Coordinate with field staff and project team to ensure that all necessary items are in place to operate a successful project. Primary point of contact for all financial support needed by Project team and subcontractors. Provide support to Project Managers with other administrative tasks as needed. This may include items such as monthly expense reporting, preparation, and distribution of project documents, etc. Manage archiving of all project-related documents upon financial completion. Prepare subcontractors insurance certificates (COIs) prior to subcontractor working onsite; work with Risk Management to ensure certificates are correct.

Qualifications

2+ years of administrative experience required, preferrably in the construction industry. Cost accounting experience preferred but not required. Strong working knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated initiative, follow through, resourcefulness, efficiency and attention to detail.
