Director of Finance/Controller
in
Anaheim, CA . This is a hybrid position: 3 days in office, 2 days remote. *Candidates with Controller experience are highly encouraged to apply! The role involves leading the Finance Department's activities related to internal and external financial reporting, managing functions such as Payroll, Accounts Payable, Financial Reporting, Planning, and Analysis. Responsibilities include developing and implementing accounting policies, collaborating on margin analysis, supporting health center operations with analytical data, and ensuring accurate financial information for management. The position requires hands-on involvement in preparing financial statements, budget variance analysis, grant reporting, and external filings for city, county, state, and federal agencies. Benefits start after one month of employment. Essential Functions include: Overseeing accounting, grant, patient reconciliation, regulatory, tax, and financial reporting functions. Supervising accounting, accounts payable, and payroll staff, including Payroll Manager. Assisting in the preparation of financial statements per GAAP for all entities. Managing monthly journal entries, variance reporting, and external filings. Overseeing cash management, bank reconciliations, and regulatory reports. Recommending improvements in financial systems and procedures. Collaborating on cost and profitability analyses, price and rate strategies. Supporting audits and interacting with executive leadership on tax and budget matters. Non-Essential Functions: Experience with healthcare professional fee billing and grants preferred. Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills required. Interest in family planning and alignment with Planned Parenthood's philosophy. Leadership, strategic planning, excellent communication, proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, organizational skills, and ability to work independently and in teams. Other Requirements:
