Software Licensing Analyst/Engagement Manager

Situation Our client is a global technical organization engaged in the design, manufacture, and marketing of networked storage solutions. The company supplies enterprise storage and data management software, hardware products, and services. A senior leader in Software Licensing has engaged M Squared Consulting for strategic and tactical expertise to support the group's success. Responsibilities Manage assigned accounts, track program progress, and milestones weekly. This includes securing licensing data, understanding environments, and verifying data accuracy from corporate systems. Collaborate with Global Enterprise Managers, Sales Representatives, Technical Account Managers, Global Services Managers, and Systems Engineers to validate installed base, understand sales cycle circumstances, and assist in resolving compliance issues. Coordinate with Regional and District Sales Management to provide licensing assistance on various topics. Deliverables Evaluate pipeline and account activity; report weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually on performance indicators and expected results. Analyze license purchase and deployment data; support contract negotiations related to audit provisions, Tech Refresh, and enterprise agreements, including on-call support during quarter ends. Targeted Expertise Required Industry Background Required Functional Background Nice-to-Have Functional Background General Skills and Attributes Engagement Logistics The engagement is expected to start as soon as possible, requiring full-time deployment for nine to twelve months on-site in Sunnyvale.
