Lead Maintenance Technician, Multifamily Job Description Summary
Responsible for assisting with troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs on commercial buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, grounds, and maintenance equipment for assigned properties/facilities. Job Responsibilities
Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and systems, including packaging and handling machinery, plumbing, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop and grounds equipment, and HVAC. Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices. Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems. Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wallpaper, and perform painting on walls, piping, floors, and equipment. Evaluate and recommend upgrades to maintenance operations and identify cost-saving opportunities. Handle tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance competently. Respond promptly to emergency situations and customer service requests. Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for safety issues, malfunctions, and perform preventative maintenance. Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems like fire alarms and fire pumps. Perform carpentry and snow removal as needed. Follow all relevant codes, regulations, and safety practices. Use technology such as smartphones, tablets, computers, and building automation systems. Complete all required safety training annually. Adhere to the company's uniform dress code and maintain a professional appearance. Key Competencies

At least 2 years of related experience in a commercial property setting. Technical, vocational, or on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; commercial license may be required. Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word. Work Environment
Primarily in a professional office environment, using standard office equipment. Physical Demands
