Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding professionals in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.
The Opportunity:
Reporting directly to the Sr. Director, Analytics and Insights, the Senior Manager, Commercial Analytics will be a key contributor as we grow our Commercial organization. In this role you will support the advanced analytics efforts which are critical for our brand strategy, launch planning, forecasting, and sales operations activities. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform a comprehensive analytics plan and execute on an analytics strategy in close collaboration with marketing, sales clinical, medical affairs, and market access initiatives. You will grow with your team to support expanding market analytics needs. This position is based at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA.
Develops first-hand knowledge of Commercial data sets and support stakeholders as a trusted partner to navigate emerging business needs and the evolving data landscape.
With guidance, delivers insightful commercial analytics projects to inform business decision making.
Designs and executes data analysis to help answer key business questions by analyzing data from industry (e.g., anonymized, longitudinal patient claims data, remittance claims, payer policy and lives data etc.) and internal (e.g., field, and digital customer interactions, sales data) sources.
Collaborates closely with cross-functional partners in Insights & Analytics, Marketing, Access, Field, Medical Affairs, and IS to deliver on advanced analytics projects.
Supports maintenance of commercial data warehouse through ongoing QC monitoring of key data sources and systems in conjunction with IT and other cross functional partners.
Helps design and build analytical tools to support and optimize promotional activities.
Prepares summarized insights from data analytics to enable rapid communication with management and identified stakeholders.
Collaborates on sales crediting validation and attainment measurement throughout the IC cycle.
Maintains an in-depth understanding of Revolution Medicines’ diverse product offerings, competitive positioning, and the broader market dynamics shaping the industry's future.
Required Skills, Experience and Education: Bachelor’s degree required with 3-4 years of progressive experience in sales and data analytics in pharmaceuticals or biopharma.
Experience with claims data, distributor data, and other data sources/platforms.
Experience with Veeva and data visualization software (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
Technical proficiency in SQL, Python or R.
Track record of being a collaborative team player, and adaptive to meet the needs of a growing business.
Strong problem solver with experience leveraging a variety of data sources, platforms, and analytical vendors.
Demonstrated ability to influence senior management and key business partners.
Proven experience in a smaller, rapidly growing, company.
Excellent organizational skills and an ability to prioritize effectively to deliver results within reasonably established timelines.
Ability to represent Revolution Medicines well: strong interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication.
Entrepreneurial mindset, with a tolerance for ambiguity, and a passion for helping cancer patients.
Preferred Skills: 5+ years of progressive experience in sales and data analytics.
Oral Oncolytic product experience strongly preferred.
Experience developing and building reporting dashboards.
Experience in new product launches.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $158,000 to $198,000 for candidates based at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA. The range displayed on each job posting is intended to be the minimum and maximum salary for the position in Redwood City and will be adjusted for the local market a candidate is based. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, market dynamics, and relevant education or training. Please note that base salary is one part of the overall total rewards program at RevMed, which includes competitive cash compensation, robust equity awards, strong benefits, and significant learning and development opportunities.
