We are seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 91-day locum tenens assignment in California. This position begins on Dec 1, 2025, and offers consistent 8-hour day shifts, 11am to 5pm, seven days a week. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in both emergency room and urgent care settings and is comfortable managing same day and next day appointments as well as walk-ins. Familiarity with Epic EMR is required.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide patient care in a setting that is a mix of emergency room and urgent care cases (Rapid Care)
  • Manage same day and next day appointments as well as walk-in patients
  • Utilize recent experience in both ER and Urgent Care with each case
  • Deliver high-quality care during all assigned shifts
  • Document clinical encounters using Epic EMR
  • Ensure compliance with all required protocols and standards
  • Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification throughout the assignment

Additional Information
  • Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in California
  • Recent ER and Urgent Care experience required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
