Neonatology Physician Locums Job in Kentucky 24-Hour Call Ongoing Coverage Starting 12/1/2025 Assignment

Coverage Needed:
Ongoing coverage for 9-12 months starting 12/1/2025
All days needed during assignment

Shift Description:
24-hour call
7am 7am

Requirements:
Board certified (Note: Candidates may have a lapsed pediatric board certification as long as they hold a valid neonatology certification.)
Must be licensed in Kentucky
NRP and DEA certified
Types of cases:
32-weeks to preterm infants
Infants requiring surfactant
CPAP and vapotherm
NAS infants

Assignment Details:
Daily rounding
Level 2 Special Care Nursery and well baby nursery
6 beds
22 well baby beds
4-5 hours depending on acuity of babies, will increase once level 2 opens up with higher acuity patients
Attending deliveries as requested if complications are anticipated
Leading resuscitation
Care for infants 32-week gestation and above
Approximately 90 deliveries per month
Patients per day: 10-15
Credentialing timeframe: 90 days
