website. About You and the Role At Humani, we are a team of modern-thinking HR professionals. The
HR Business Partner
will serve as the primary contact for multiple clients across different jurisdictions and industries. The ideal candidate can assist clients with complex people and culture issues by developing and implementing customized solutions. A strong knowledge of HR employment law and employee relations in multiple states (California and New York preferred) is essential. Skills in client and project management, attention to detail, and excellent communication are required, along with the ability to guide organizations and their leadership through change. You thrive in environments where solutions are not always readily apparent, enjoy creating HR policies and programs from scratch, and can adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment. Some travel may be required. What You Will Do
Act as the primary HR business partner for multiple clients across various jurisdictions.
Analyze clients’ current HR programs and design tailored HR roadmaps.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws.
Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures.
Handle complex compensation projects, including data analysis.
Review HR software and processes; lead HRIS implementations.
Develop and improve performance management processes.
Design compensation plans based on market data.
Manage employee relations issues.
Provide coaching and mentorship to management and staff.
Create and deliver HR training sessions.
Participate in virtual and onsite meetings with clients’ executives and employees.
Manage relationships with clients’ C-suite executives.
Your Skill Set
Strong knowledge of US employment law and legislation across multiple states; union/labor relations experience is a plus.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Effective time management skills to meet deadlines and budgets.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with executives and employees.
Organizational skills for managing multiple client projects.
Data analysis skills with attention to detail.
Experience in relationship management with clients and stakeholders.
Proficiency with new technologies; experience with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
Ability to adapt to various HR software platforms.
Knowledge of project management principles; change management experience is a plus.
Who You Are
At least 5+ years of client-facing HR business partner experience.
Minimum of 2+ years managing HR team deliverables.
Degree or diploma in HR or related field; HR certification is a plus.
Passionate about HR, with experience in building HR systems and staying current on HR trends.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Creative thinker with the ability to handle diverse situations.
Self-motivated and disciplined, capable of working independently.
