What we do

: Provide a variety of mental health and wellness services to eligible veterans and military service members and their families. Clients are eligible for Vet Center services based on deployments in support of a combat mission, Military Sexual Trauma, or other trauma-related eligibility criteria, and present with a wide variety of clinical needs, including PTSD, anxiety disorders, problematic substance use, moral injury, transition from military to civilian life, everyday stressors, and bereavement. Identify underserved pockets of veteran and servicemembers and develop partnerships with Veteran Service Organizations and other community groups to facilitate new referrals to Vet Center services. Collaborate with community partners to plan, coordinate, and execute outreach events, many of which occur on evenings or weekends. Provide information and connect veterans, servicemembers, family members, and other stakeholders to federal, state, and local resources. Develop, manage, and distribute outreach materials, including briefings and web content. Collaborate closely with Vet Center counselors and support the team in maintaining military/veteran cultural competency. Provide outreach services to veterans recently separated from military service to facilitate a smooth transition into VA and Vet Center services. Apply here
