We are seeking a Vice President of Marketing Strategy & Growth to develop and execute innovative strategies that engage new and existing donors and expand our global impact. This role is ideal for a dynamic, visionary marketing and communications leader responsible for shaping a unifying brand and marketing vision that elevates Unbound’s voice, inspires generosity, and grows our supporter community. Responsibilities Develop and implement a long-term, integrated brand and marketing strategy aligned with Unbound's mission and values. Drive growth through innovative go-to-market campaigns across advertising, PR, digital, social, and content channels. Manage and optimize digital acquisition strategies in partnership with external media agencies. Enhance brand architecture, content strategy, and donor engagement efforts to ensure clarity, consistency, and inspiration across all touchpoints. Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team of marketers, creatives, and media professionals. Cultivate a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability rooted in our mission. Collaborate across departments such as Philanthropy, Product, International Programs, and Donor Experience to ensure cohesive brand and campaign execution. Serve as a visible, values-driven leader, aligning stakeholders around a unified brand story and shared growth objectives. Utilize data-driven strategies, analytics, and personalization to improve marketing effectiveness. Champion the integration of AI and marketing technology solutions to scale impact and enhance donor experiences. Implement tools and processes to support agile planning, performance tracking, and strategic decision-making. Oversee narrative strategy and creative direction for external communications, ensuring stories are ethically sourced, emotionally resonant, and aligned with Unbound’s voice and values. Manage editorial calendars and creative development to amplify the voices of those we serve. Increase Unbound’s visibility and thought leadership through strategic PR and media engagement. Lead proactive media efforts, executive positioning, and crisis communications in line with Unbound’s mission. Qualifications 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including at least 5 years in leadership roles within integrated marketing. Experience working in nonprofit or donor-driven organizations, with a background in international development or global nonprofits preferred. Proven success leading multi-year, organization-wide campaigns that integrate brand, fundraising, and engagement strategies across channels. Experience marketing to high-net-worth donors, tailoring strategies to communicate impact and alignment. Strategic thinker and creative problem-solver, adept in full-funnel, donor-centric marketing. A growth-oriented leader with a track record of delivering measurable results in fast-paced, purpose-driven environments. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to work strategically across all organizational levels. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; MBA preferred. Ability to travel up to 15%, primarily domestically, with periodic international trips.
