A number of solution hot spots exist today, such as in claims, underwriting, policy and billing. Typical projects span the following areas of insurance technology-enabled transformation: Guidewire System Implementation (Policy, Billing, Claims) Enterprise Data Management Reinsurance Accounting and Reporting Operations/Technology Performance Management and Measurement Enterprise Technology Expense Reduction We assist clients in designing and implementing solutions to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness in the areas of strategy, people, processes and technology. Your Key Responsibilities You’ll be responsible for working directly with clients to transform business problems into technology solutions. The goal is to support clients' efforts to make their business units more effective and efficient, and, where required, provide services in remediation and mitigation of process risk. You will assist engagement teams through the analysis of specific business requirements for alignment with technology architecture, technology infrastructure design, vendor selection and technology implementation plans that support our clients. Demonstrate technical capabilities and engineering skills that support insurance technology system implementation. Remain current on new developments in services capabilities and industry knowledge. Offer subject-matter knowledge to the design and integration phase of projects, helping to define architecture, data models, system design and interfacing requirements. Advise clients on business process services to identify, assess, manage and measure the organization’s capabilities; collaborate with client technology professionals or third-party alliances to implement technology solutions. Collaborate with diverse client teams; foster an innovative, inclusive, team-oriented environment. To qualify for the role, you must have
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology or a related field with 3+ years of relevant work experience in Property and Casualty Insurance or consulting; or a master’s degree with 2+ years of experience. Previous application experience in Guidewire, OneShield, Exigen/EIS, Majesco, Duck Creek, Insurity, Sapiens/Adaptik, FirstBest, Business Objects, Cognos, Informatica, or similar. Proficiency in one or more competencies: system selection and implementation; requirements definition; architecture design; application configuration/integration; data mapping, conversion, migration. Experience delivering system implementations through all phases of the project lifecycle; strong communication skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams. Experience in software engineering best practices, code review methodologies, and deployment of optimization tools. Ability to deliver POCs for complex designs and provide alternative solutions; strong client-facing communication. Travel to client sites as necessary. Ideally, you’ll also have
Experience with management reporting enhancement, business intelligence/decision support, data warehousing/enterprise data design and management, or enterprise application integration.
