Medical Science Liaison, Hematology (West region) The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will be a field-based resource and extension of the Medical Affairs team. The MSL will support clinical trials and contribute to research initiatives in hematology, with a focus on delivering scientific exchange and medical support for investigators, sites, and internal stakeholders.

Establish the company as a clinical stage biotech with a science-driven, patient-focused approach; support development in hematology and related indications. Maintain clinical, scientific, and technical expertise in relevant oncology therapies and treatment areas. Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, and other internal stakeholders; serve as a resource to external stakeholders. Collaborate with clinical sites to support patient identification and enrollment into the company’s clinical trials. Engage with investigators and site staff to maintain trial prominence and ensure familiarity with all protocol and patient information. Provide investigators and site staff with relevant, compliant medical and scientific support and communications. Develop and track key opinion leader (KOL) engagement plans; identify and maintain relationships with KOLs within the assigned region; participate in medical and scientific exchanges with the community. Provide medical/clinical teams with feedback and insights from interactions with KOLs and investigators. Respond to and document unsolicited requests for information on the company’s clinical program. Support Medical Affairs with participation in special projects related to medical communications, publication materials, and training initiatives as requested. Represent the company at medical conferences through thought leader meetings, symposia attendance, competitive intelligence gathering, and related activities. Qualifications:

Advanced terminal degree strongly preferred (PharmD, PhD, DNP or MD); consideration given to NP, MSN, or PA with Hematology/Oncology and MSL experience. Minimum of 3+ years of Oncology MSL experience required (Multiple Myeloma preferred). Minimum of 5+ years of clinical and/or research experience in Oncology required. Established relationships with Oncology KOLs and stakeholders at academic institutions and community practices preferred. Ability to travel locally and regionally up to 60% with overnight stays as required. Experience collaborating with payers or formulary committees preferred. Knowledge of FDA requirements and PhRMA Code governing compliant scientific exchange required. Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional network/matrix and to manage projects. Valid driver’s license. An essential function of this role is to support and visit customer sites and locations (hospitals, institutions). If such locations have a COVID-19 policy requiring vaccination or exemptions, you may be asked to provide proof. Salary offers to be determined based on industry experience, education, and therapeutic expertise.
