All Native Group are seeking a Telecommunications Engineer to join our team in Washington, DC. You will support our customer with circuit provisioning functions and upgrades from the Avaya 880 to VOIP. This department manages all domestic voice and data telecommunications circuit provisioning order and implementation services. This position requires a customer-focused, technically skilled, self-motivated individual who can work with internal groups to ensure optimal service implementations. Responsibilities
Manage and track Telecom Service Request (TSR) circuit order and disconnect requests, reviewing and validating circuit order requests and specifications from Network Data and Voice Engineers, writing quotes, submitting orders to telecom carriers, and tracking order status. Assist with all aspects of circuit order implementation. Process all new circuit orders, MACDs and disconnect circuit orders for data and voice services from various telecom carriers (e.g., Layer 2 Switched Ethernet, Layer 3 VPN/MPLS Switched Ethernet, Internet/IPS, SIP Trunks). Review and approve all technical specifications for circuit orders; track order status and provide timely updates to customers. Coordinate with Project Managers on large-scale enterprise deployments to meet customer requirements; collaborate with Data Network Engineers and Voice Engineers to review engineering specifications. Utilize telecom carriers’ online portals to process orders and obtain accurate, timely service order completion notices; answer customer inquiries regarding order status. Update internal systems with circuit and service detail information for all orders; provide high-quality customer service and timely product delivery. Act as the primary point of contact for internal customer expectations and telco vendor escalations to complete each order within standard intervals or better; manage lifecycle of telco vendor circuit orders as a liaison between internal customers and telco vendors. Demonstrate excellent problem solving, troubleshooting, judgment, and attention to detail; maintain accuracy in all tasks. Qualifications
Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in provisioning voice and data telecommunications circuit orders/implementations services. Experience with Move, Add, Change (MAC) day-to-day environment; knowledge of Ethernet, optical and electrical LAN/WAN hand-off types. Ability to use data analysis to identify root causes and mitigate issues; ability to resolve complex issues; strong organizational and time management skills. Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; team collaborator. Proficiency with MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel; ability to develop, brief, and lead customer-requested training and briefings. Education
Technical training in telecommunications and/or experience provisioning telecom services. BS in Telecommunications or Business Administration is a plus. Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Effective communication with technical and management personnel. Security Clearance Must be a U.S. citizen. Compensation and Benefits The expected compensation range for this position is $95,000.00–$105,000.00 per year. Comprehensive benefits are offered.
