In this role, you’ll coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and vendors to bring innovative, efficient, and high-quality data centers to life. You’ll manage budgets and schedules while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Plan Projects: Develop detailed project plans covering scope, schedule, and budget. Align objectives with stakeholders to ensure clarity and success.

Lead Teams: Manage and inspire cross-functional groups—including engineers, architects, contractors, and vendors—to achieve project goals.

Control Budgets: Oversee budgets, track spending, and allocate resources effectively while maintaining cost control.

Mitigate Risks: Identify potential challenges early, develop mitigation strategies, and uphold safety and regulatory standards.

Ensure Quality: Monitor construction activities, conduct inspections, and verify adherence to design specifications and quality benchmarks.

Communicate Clearly: Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership and stakeholders to keep everyone aligned.

Manage Vendors: Evaluate and select contractors, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong relationships with external partners.

What You Bring

Proven project management experience delivering large-scale, complex construction projects—ideally in data centers or other critical infrastructure sectors.

Strong knowledge of infrastructure systems: power distribution, HVAC, fire suppression, and physical security.

Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).

Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills across diverse teams.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements, building codes, and safety standards for data center construction.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in construction management or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management.

PMP certification (preferred).

Experience with BIM modeling and green building certifications such as LEED.

Understanding of cloud technologies and their impact on data center design.

Work Environment This is a hands-on, dynamic role. You’ll spend time both in the office and on active construction sites. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing, climbing, balancing, and occasional crawling or kneeling.
