Additional compensation types Annual Bonus Williamsport, MD *On-Site Position Summary: The Plant Director is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of plant operations, including manufacturing, production, quality, safety, supply chain, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role manages the full P&L for the facility and drives operational excellence to achieve financial, quality, and productivity goals. The Plant Director ensures compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and regulatory standards while building a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance. Key Responsibilities: Provide overall leadership and direction for the plant, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and objectives. Manage the facility’s P&L, driving profitability, cost control, and revenue growth while ensuring operational efficiency. Lead, mentor, and develop plant leadership teams across manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, supply chain, and quality functions. Oversee production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet customer requirements and on-time delivery. Champion safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance initiatives to maintain a safe and sustainable workplace. Implement and sustain continuous improvement practices, Lean manufacturing, and operational excellence initiatives. Collaborate with senior leadership on long-term strategic planning, capital projects, and capacity expansion. Monitor and report key operational and financial metrics, ensuring corrective actions are taken where needed. Build and maintain a culture of accountability, engagement, and teamwork at all levels of the organization. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field (advanced degree preferred). 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial operations, with at least 5 years in a senior plant or operations leadership role. Proven track record of managing a P&L, driving cost savings, and improving profitability. Strong background in Lean, Six Sigma, and/or other continuous improvement methodologies. International manufacturing/management experience. Excellent leadership, communication, and team development skills. Demonstrated ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.
