Department Overview The Enterprise Resilience & Safety Sales team is a global sales organization within Motorola Solutions, Inc. that provides industry-leading incident management software applications (Noggin and Ally) and mass notification software (Rave) to enterprise customers. We deliver end-to-end enterprise security applications, video security and access control, and mission-critical voice communications systems. Job Description We are seeking a top-performing, technical sales leader to lead a team of incident management software sellers who understand how to sell Motorola’s enterprise software solutions and ecosystem. This role focuses on selling incident management software and mass notification solutions to new customers and to our existing customer base, targeting key vertical markets in enterprise security. The successful candidate will build the team and execute sales and marketing plans to drive software sales growth. Responsibilities Leading a team of Enterprise Software Area Sales Managers, Account Executives and Pre-Sales Business Managers, with dotted line responsibility for several other organizations Strategic account planning across the territory to ensure customer-focused solution selling Enterprise selling experience with a focus on secure cloud environments Setting go-to-market strategies with direct and channel selling resources Revenue and gross margin responsibility including implementation of go-to-market strategies Actively participate in customer engagement (25-50%), including executive-level engagement Attract talent into the organization and develop a diverse pool of future leaders Negotiating large, complex contracts Resolving complex customer service and satisfaction issues Establishing a collaborative, energetic and engaging working environment as the leader of the Territory Specific Knowledge & Skills Bachelor’s Degree preferred 8+ years of sales experience 2+ years in sales leadership Ability to contribute to the North America VS&A Sales leadership team in developing and executing an effective go-to-market sales strategy Strong technical acumen and ability to discuss products and solutions; technical background to include networking protocols and network equipment configuration Ability to communicate with all levels of leadership and company personnel Mature judgment and individual initiative Proven track record of developing staff and maintaining a high standard of employee relations Development and execution of sales and go-to-market strategies in a collaborative environment Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills Time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Ability to travel within North America (25-50% travel); international travel may apply on rare occasions for leadership planning meetings as part of a global sales organization Target Base Salary Range : $175,000 - $185,000 USD Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
