Overview Little, nationally recognized as a “Best Firm to Work For,” is seeking a Lead Civil Engineer with a positive, collaborative work style to work with internal engineers, landscape architects, and architects on Healthcare, Civic, K-12, Higher Education, Commercial/Retail and Office projects. Responsibilities
Perform site visits and prepare due diligence reports. Prepare construction drawings, including calculating packages, and coordinate permitting through local jurisdictions. Provide construction administration support. Collaborate with project teams to design for a broad range of clients and solve problems creatively. Lead project teams through concept design, design development, and final design stages. Monitor project budgets, schedules, and quality; maintain positive client relationships. Mentor team members and provide technical leadership across levels. Build and manage relationships with local municipalities/agencies. Qualifications
Civil Engineer degree and registered professional engineer (PE). 10-12+ years of experience in producing construction documents. Strong skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, StormCAD, WaterCAD, or related engineering software. Ideal Candidate Qualities
Empathetic listener with strong communication skills, able to simplify complex ideas and gain consensus. Detail-oriented, passionate about design, and committed to high-quality work.
