Overview Patent Prosecution Associate – Electrical Engineering & Computer Science

AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join their growing Patent Prosecution Practice Group focused on electrical engineering and computer science technologies. This position is open to multiple office locations, with strong preference for Atlanta, Denver, Houston, St. Louis, Kansas City, Los Angeles, or San Francisco. Responsibilities
Prepare and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications. Draft responses to office actions and conduct prior art analysis. Work closely with clients, inventors, and in-house counsel to develop effective IP strategies. Collaborate with a team of patent attorneys and agents on high-value portfolios. Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics. Strong academic background with excellent writing and communication skills. Preferred Experience
Patent prosecution involving technologies such as Machine learning, artificial intelligence, neural networks Hardware and/or communications security (e.g., encryption/decryption) Remarks This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney with strong technical skills to work on cutting-edge technologies within a supportive, team-oriented environment, with multiple office location options available.
