$117,000.00/yr - $234,000.00/yr . Overview Senior Manager, Marketing Strategy & Planning – Walmart Connect. Walmart Connect is redefining the retail media landscape by helping brands reach millions of Walmart\'s omnichannel customers at scale. Leveraging first-party data and innovative advertising solutions, we empower advertisers to drive measurable business outcomes while enhancing the customer experience. The Opportunity We’re seeking a seasoned marketing leader to shape and drive the content strategy that supports the growth of Emerging Brands and SMB advertisers. In this highly visible role, you will help attract, educate, and grow small and mid-sized suppliers and Marketplace sellers through retail media. You will build a scalable content foundation that strengthens brand trust, accelerates advertiser acquisition, and drives adoption of Walmart Connect solutions across the seller journey. You’ll Make an Impact By
Defining and leading the content marketing strategy for Emerging Brands, aligned to advertiser acquisition goals, revenue growth, and Walmart Connect’s broader priorities. Architecting a full-funnel content ecosystem that supports awareness, consideration, conversion, and retention across owned and paid channels. Collaborating cross-functionally with paid media, SEO, brand, partner marketing, product marketing, creative, and seller engagement teams to ensure consistent messaging and content activation. Elevating thought leadership and brand positioning to establish Walmart Connect as a growth platform for SMBs and challenger brands. Operationalizing content development through workflows, editorial planning, performance measurement, and high creative standards. Using insights, platform data, and seller feedback to inform messaging strategy and content prioritization. Incorporating market research and voice-of-customer insights into content planning to ensure relevance and impact. You’ll Thrive in This Role If You
Are a strategic thinker and content architect who can translate complex goals into scalable content programs. Have a deep understanding of SMB and DTC brand needs and can deliver content that educates, inspires, and drives action. Excel at cross-functional leadership and stakeholder collaboration in a fast-paced environment. Are a performance-driven marketer who uses data to drive decision-making and optimize content. Bring experience in B2B, eCommerce, digital advertising, or retail media, with a passion for entrepreneurial growth. Qualifications
5-8 years of experience in content marketing, brand strategy, or go-to-market planning, preferably in B2B, digital media, or marketplace ecosystems. Proven success in developing and executing content strategies that drive acquisition, engagement, or product adoption at scale. Strong editorial and storytelling skills with experience across formats — thought leadership, paid ads, case studies, guides, white papers, video, and more. Experience leading content production across internal teams and agency partners. Proficiency with CMS platforms, marketing automation tools, and analytics dashboards. Solid understanding of digital and retail media advertising solutions. Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills. Structured, analytical, and strategic mindset.
