Process retirement account payrolls for Business Professional, Non-Partner Attorney, and Partner groups. Organize and maintain the back-up for each payroll on the document management system. Process Cash Balance Plan Distributions by requesting paperwork from external vendors, sending paperwork, recording data in tracking files, processing in vendor systems, and notifying Partners upon completion. Manage vendor invoices and process in vendor systems and MoFo systems. Regularly update vendors and advisors on Partner hires, terms, and transitions; respond to HR data inquiries from outside retirement administrator. Review and resolve vendor data discrepancies; collaborate with HRIS and payroll to ensure data accuracy across all systems and the retirement vendors. Assist in sending out retirement communications to appropriate personnel and tracking responses. Triage messages in the Retirement inbox; respond to appropriate emails (e.g., Partner banking inquiries, HR data verification, Social Security Letters) and pass along more complex questions to appropriate team members. Coordinate the collection of data for annual retirement plans audits and other audit requests. Assist in updating retirement orientation and benefits presentation decks. Assist with benefits claims and appeals processes. Define process improvement opportunities. About You
Bachelor’s degree preferred. 3+ years in a retirement role in a law firm or professional services environment preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to apply independent judgment and take ownership over projects and responsibilities. Ability to prepare accurate, highly detailed work product. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with all levels of personnel. Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new applications. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (including Excel) and other department applications. Ability to organize time, prioritize workload, and work independently. Reliability and motivation to respond to requests quickly.
