Overview GoFundMe is hiring a Staff Product Manager with consumer fintech experience. In this high impact role you will build innovative financial tools that enable individuals to manage their charitable donations with ease and efficiency. You will work with a cross-functional team to deliver meaningful financial and charitable experiences for our users. Candidates considered for this role will be located in the San Francisco, Bay Area with an in-office requirement of 3 days a week.

Develop and drive product and growth strategy for the new wallet product, aligned with the company’s vision and growth objectives. Lead the full product development lifecycle, from conception to launch, collaborating with engineering, design, legal, finance, compliance, and marketing teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. Own the product roadmap and prioritize features based on user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility. Conduct deep market and user research to understand the competitive landscape, regulatory environment, and customer needs, shaping the product to meet market demands. Work closely with stakeholders across legal, compliance, and finance to ensure the product meets regulatory and risk management requirements. Define and deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) for the product and use data-driven insights to iterate, improve, and optimize the user experience. Own the product launch and drive go-to-market strategy in collaboration with marketing and growth teams, ensuring a successful launch and scaling post-launch. Qualifications

Have at least 8 years of hands-on experience in product management, with gradually increased responsibility. Have at least 3 years of experience working in fintech and/or financial services, with a proven track record on back-end financial systems including ledgers, pay-ins, pay-outs, wallets, reconciliation, data, and integrations with 3rd party systems. Can translate complex concepts into clear, actionable product plans that resonate with cross-functional teams. Are comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments; entrepreneurial experience is a major plus. Have demonstrated leadership experience, managing complex product roadmaps and collaborating with multiple departments to bring innovative products to life. Are data-driven and use key metrics to guide product iterations and decision-making. Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical details to non-technical stakeholders. MBA from a top school and/or management consulting experience at a top firm are a major plus. Are passionate about using innovation to empower people in their charitable giving. Salary and Location The total annual salary for this full-time position is $181,000 - $235,000 + equity + benefits. This is a hybrid position; salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location across the US. Individual pay is based on location and other factors including job-related skills, experience, and education. The recruiter can share the specific salary range during the hiring process.
