Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Maintenance Technician and play a critical role in repairing, maintaining, and improving system components within our dynamic manufacturing environment. This position offers the opportunity to apply your technical skills in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, ensuring the smooth operation of our facility.

Responsibilities

Repair, maintain, and improve system components to ensure optimal performance.

Perform basic electrical controls and circuit analysis, utilizing multi-meters for troubleshooting.

Read and interpret schematics and symbols for effective problem-solving.

Conduct mechanical troubleshooting of hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, and mechanical rigging.

Follow a preventive maintenance schedule to prevent major breakdowns.

Carry out countermeasure maintenance and root cause analysis for systematic issues.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, including 3 phase motors and controls.

Experience in mechanical troubleshooting of hydraulics and pneumatics.

Strong skills in preventive maintenance and scheduled or non-scheduled maintenance.

Knowledge of robotic troubleshooting and PLC troubleshooting.

Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480V.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in a similar manufacturing environment, ideally in automotive or forklift production.

Ability to work effectively in a team and lead maintenance initiatives.

Work Environment

Work in an environment similar to automotive manufacturing, specifically focused on forklift production. The role is on the 3rd shift, from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am, five days a week. The facility is set to be fully air-conditioned by the end of 2026, ensuring a comfortable work setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Columbus, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $83200.00/yr.
