Lead Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities: • Lead and oversee maintenance operations, ensuring optimal performance of all production and facility equipment. • Schedule and perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and prolong equipment lifespan. • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues quickly and implement effective solutions. • Maintain accurate maintenance records, including logs of inspections, repairs, and part replacements. • Train and mentor junior maintenance staff, promoting best practices in safety and equipment care. • Collaborate with production teams to ensure maintenance activities align with operational needs. • Manage inventory of parts and tools, coordinating with vendors for timely restocking. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies across all maintenance activities. • Participate in facility improvement projects, upgrades, and installations. • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize disruptions.
Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred. • Minimum 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role. • Proficiency with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. • Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. • Capable of lifting up to 50+ lbs and working in a physically demanding environment. • Willingness to work swing shifts, evenings, and weekends as needed. • Knowledge of OSHA and facility safety protocols.
