Job Description We are seeking a skilled Cable Installer with an active Secret clearance for a 1-month contract to support the installation of a new IT system in a secure facility in Hawaii. The role involves installing pre-fabricated copper and fiber cabling, connecting equipment, and ensuring compliance with industry and DoD standards. All travel expenses, including accommodation and transportation, will be covered. Responsibilities

Cabling Infrastructure: Install pre-fabricated copper and fiber cabling between equipment rooms and designated work areas. Utilize ladder racks, trays, and J-hooks for proper cable management to ensure accessibility and maintenance. Equipment Connections: Connect system equipment to pre-installed racks, cabinets, and patch panels. Ensure all connections are properly dressed, labeled, and secured. Labeling and Documentation: Label all cables and ports according to specifications. Provide basic as-built drawings documenting cable routes and termination points. Deliverables: Deliver fully installed ISP cabling infrastructure with all equipment connected and labeled, along with updated as-built drawings. Compliance: Adhere to TIA/EIA, BICSI, DoD, and facility safety standards. Ensure all work complies with security protocols for a TS/SCI environment. Required Qualifications

Active Secret clearance with appropriate access approvals. Proven experience in installing copper and fiber cabling in IT or telecommunications environments. Familiarity with cable management systems (ladder racks, trays, J-hooks). Knowledge of TIA/EIA, BICSI, and DoD standards for cabling and infrastructure. Ability to label cables/ports accurately and produce as-built drawings. Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety and security protocols. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a secure facility. Preferred Qualifications

BICSI certification or equivalent training. Experience working in secure environments. Familiarity with IT system installations in government or DoD facilities. Compensation & Benefits
