$130,000.00/yr - $165,000.00/yr Overview Are you an ambitious and skilled Litigation Attorney seeking an exciting new opportunity to make a significant impact in the legal field? Bremer Whyte Brown & O'Meara, LLP is seeking a talented Litigation Associate to join our award-winning team. We are a reputable and forward-thinking mid-sized law firm, recognized for its fifth consecutive year as a Best Law Firm by U.S. News & World Report's Best Lawyers. As an integral member of our litigation team, you will handle a variety of litigation matters involving wrongful death, catastrophic injury, construction, breach of contract/business disputes, tort claims, and more. From inception to resolution, you will manage every aspect of your cases including legal strategy, research, drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, arguing motions in court, attending mediations, and trial. You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, businesses, and organizations. This role offers opportunities for professional growth through close collaboration with team members and mentorship from experienced partners. Responsibilities

Handle a variety of litigation matters from inception to resolution Develop legal strategy, conduct research, draft pleadings and motions Manage discovery, argue motions in court, attend mediations and trials Communicate with clients and opposing counsel Collaborate with team members and be mentored by partners Qualifications

3+ years of civil litigation experience, with at least one year defending tort claims Experience preparing pleadings, propounding and responding to discovery, drafting motions and briefs, taking and defending depositions, and appearing in court Proficiency in arguing motions; experience with mediations/arbitrations; trial experience is a plus Exceptional communication and advocacy skills with a client-focused mindset Ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating with the team Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Current admission to the California State Bar Benefits
