The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities:
GENERAL PURPOSE
This is an exciting opportunity to work in the new Fitness Center exclusively for UR staff and students. This position will work with existing and potential members. Candidate should possess strong customer service skills. Center membership included.
SCHEDULE
Part time: weekdays 5-9 am
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Receives and greets members and customers.
Promotes the Fitness Center, as well as provide tours and information to potential and new members.
Work with current members that have questions or problems.
Enroll new members and process payments for membership or merchandise.
Ensures the safety and wellbeing of members.
Monitors the Center for any issues and troubleshoots these as they arise.
Cleans as needed and maintains organization of equipment.
Open and prepare facility for the members.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school education and 1-2 years related work experience
Or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Individual should possess outstanding customer service skills and a fair amount of computer knowledge.
