We are currently looking for catering staff for business events. Our events are typically 4-8 hours long, and are located in the 5 NYC boroughs.
Job Summary
Summary: Delivers food to restaurant/dining room patrons in a timely, professional, and efficient manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Delivers food to restaurant/dining room patrons/customers. Follows principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment. Interacts with customers in order to assure customer satisfaction. Interacts with co-workers in order to assure compliance with company service standards. Completes side work as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned. Bus tables by removing dirty dishes and trash Check in with customers to ensure their experience is satisfactory Relay reports of customer satisfaction to the management and relevant parties Ensure patrons have all the appropriate tableware they need to properly enjoy their food Assist setting up tables before service with appropriate utensils, napkins and decorations Handle various impromptu requests from customers Requirements:
Must be able to multitask in order to ensure customers get their orders promptly High degree of organizational skills to easily locate tables and bar patrons to fulfill everyone's orders Excellent communication skills to ensure they meet customers' requests. Be able to remain on their feet for several hours straight. Additionally, they should be able to carry about 35 pounds easily.
