About the Role We are looking for a
highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior/Staff Accountant
to join our growing finance team in Fort Lauderdale. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong technical expertise and a passion for accuracy, compliance, and process improvement.
What Youll Do
Prepare and review
financial statements, reports, and reconciliations
in compliance with GAAP. Handle
month-end and year-end closings , ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Reconcile general ledger accounts
and resolve discrepancies proactively. Assist with
budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis . Maintain and track
fixed asset schedules . Ensure compliance with
federal, state, and local regulations . Partner with
auditors during annual audits
and provide required documentation. Support
special projects and process improvements
within the accounting team. What Were Looking For
Bachelors degree
in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 35 years of hands-on accounting experience
(public or corporate). Proficient in
accounting software
(QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar). Solid understanding of
GAAP principles . Strong
analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills . Excellent
communication skills
(written and verbal). CPA preferred , but not required. What We Offer
