Full-Time | Exempt Key Responsibilities: Strategic Financial Leadership Partner with the President/CEO and executive team to develop financial strategies that support organizational growth and stability. Serve as a key advisor to finance, audit, and investment committees. Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, lenders, government agencies, and financial partners. Financial Management & Reporting Lead budgeting, accounting, and cash management processes to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting. Manage annual audits and tax filings for the corporate entity and individual properties. Prepare consolidated financial statements and oversee external audits and tax returns. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and improve financial procedures. Monitor cash flow and capital needs across the multifamily portfolio. Supervise the Accounting Team in daily operations including accounts

payable/receivable,

payroll, invoicing, and financial reporting. Collaborate with the Director of Risk Management to manage insurance and liability policies. Real Estate Development & Asset Management Support acquisitions and development projects by reviewing financial structures, partnership agreements, and legal documents. Oversee financing and loan closings involving LIHTC, Historic Tax Credits, New Markets Tax Credits, bond financing, and other public/private funding sources. Coordinate funding requisitions and capital expenditure tracking with Regional Directors. Ensure timely and accurate reporting to investors and government agencies, including equity draws and cost certifications.

Requirements:

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred). 7–10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in multifamily housing or real estate. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and audit practices. Experience with affordable housing finance, tax credit programs, and real estate development. Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills. Proficiency in financial software and property management systems.
