Job Description Description: The YMCA of the Seacoast is looking for part-time Lifeguards to join our fun, energetic, and mission-driven aquatics team. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to gain leadership experience, build their resume, and contribute to a safer, healthier community. Don’t have a certification yet? No problem – we offer training for qualified candidates!
Flexible shifts offered throughout the week.
Responsibilities:
Monitor pool area to ensure a safe and positive environment for all swimmers Enforce all pool rules and safety procedures Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and perform water rescues as needed Complete safety checks and maintain accurate incident reports Arrive on time and in proper uniform for every scheduled shift Attend required staff trainings and in-service sessions Find and report shift coverage in case of absence Qualifications:
Willing to complete lifeguard certification (YMCA or Red Cross accepted) Preferred: CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, First Aid, Emergency Oxygen Ability to stay alert and act calmly in high-pressure situations Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude Must meet physical requirements of lifeguarding (swimming, endurance, etc.) Benefits:
