Job Summary: The Vehicle Acquisition Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting our dealership's growth by proactively sourcing and acquiring vehicles from the public. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for automobiles, and the ability to build relationships with potential sellers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Outreach and Networking: - Actively reach out to the public through various channels, including social media, online platforms, and community events, to identify potential vehicle sellers. - Build and maintain relationships with customers, fostering trust and encouraging them to consider selling their vehicles to the dealership.
- Vehicle Assessment: - Conduct thorough evaluations of vehicles to determine their condition, value, and potential resale opportunities. - Negotiate offers and terms with sellers, ensuring a fair and transparent process.
- Collaboration: - Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align acquisition strategies with dealership goals. - Communicate effectively with the dealership management regarding inventory needs and acquisition targets.
- Market Research: - Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for acquiring high-demand vehicles. - Analyze data to inform acquisition strategies and pricing models.
- Documentation and Compliance: - Ensure all acquisition transactions are compliant with legal and dealership policies. - Maintain accurate records of acquired vehicles and interactions with sellers.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in automotive sales, procurement, or a related field. - Strong negotiation and communication skills. - Knowledge of vehicle appraisal and market trends. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Proficient in Google Sheets and customer relationship management (CRM) software. - Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
