SUMMARY: Responsibilities include inspecting products at different stages of the manufacturing process, documenting their findings, recommending improvements, and reporting any defects or issues to the production team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: · Perform quality checks on manufacturing processes and products to ensure they meet established standards and specifications. · Use specialized equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM to measure and verify product dimensions and tolerances. · Selects measurement techniques to maximize repeatability and reproducibility of measured parameters. · Identify, document and report any defects or non-conformities discovered during inspection, and work with production staff to resolve any issues. · Additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and independently. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

· High school diploma or equivalent. · Minimum of 3 years manufacturing inspection experience. · Expert knowledge of blueprint reading, both English and Metric. · Working experience and understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, “GD&T”. · Experience in using hand gauging such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, dial indicators, visual comparators. · Experience with operating CMM. Knowledge of PC-DMIS software is a plus. · Computer experience with Excel and Word software. · Machining experience is a plus.
