Our Finance & Accounting continues to expand to support the growth of the organization. Our team is currently looking to add a talented Accounting Analyst. This early career opportunity will allow you to gain experience and expertise within the defense industry - with the opportunity to grow with Corvid. In this position you will support day-to-day accounting operations, researching cost and revenue detail, preparing journal entries, and providing accurate data inputs used to develop reports leadership can count on. The position will require someone who is detail oriented, enjoys learning and wants to be a part of growing organization. Critical tasking will include: Support month-end and year-end close activities Support AP, AR, and cash management functions Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses Assist in financial statement preparation and reporting Help maintain compliance with GAAP and internal controls while supporting audits Requirements: Position will require US Citizenship You will need to possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (or similar discipline) and at least one year of industry experience (advanced degrees and internships can replace experience) You should be able to demonstrate proficiency with Excel and an ability to work in an ERP system (Experience with Deltek is a plus) Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills should be demonstrated About Corvid: Corvid Technologies is an engineering firm specializing in using high-fidelity, computational modeling and simulation to analyze, design and manufacture products for aerospace, DoD, and commercial customers.
