We are currently seeking a detail-driven, dependable Junior Staff Accountant to join our central accounting office. Position Summary As a Junior Staff Accountant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day accounting functions of our growing hospitality portfolio. Your primary focus will be timely and accurate processing of payables, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting the month-end close process. This position is fully in-office, working closely with our accounting team and property leaders to ensure financial accuracy and operational excellence.

Working Environment This is a Monday–Friday, on-site role at our Rolling Hills Hospitality office. Standard office setting with periods of desk and computer work. Occasional overtime may be required during the month-end close or audits.

Accounts Payable Receive, verify, and process vendor invoices in alignment with established approval workflows. Prepare weekly payment batches via check, ACH, or wire. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a professional, timely manner. Maintain organized and audit-ready AP records for multiple hotel properties. Assist in 1099 tracking and annual vendor reporting.

General Accounting Post journal entries, accruals, and expense allocations across multiple entities. Assist with the monthly close process, including account reconciliations. Support audits (internal and external) by preparing schedules and documentation. Maintain and update prepaid schedules, fixed asset records, and reconciliations.

Administrative Support Monitor and respond to inquiries from vendors and hotel management teams. Contribute to policy and process improvements for greater efficiency and control. Cross-train with other team members to ensure departmental coverage. Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting; multi-entity or hospitality experience is a plus. Familiarity with accounting software such as M3 is preferred. Excel skills and confidence in managing data across systems. High attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines. Clear and professional communication skills.
