Amphenol Pcd is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented
Quality Management Systems Manager (QMS)
to join our team in Beverly, MA. This role is responsible for maintaining and improving our Quality Management System in compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and applicable customer and regulatory requirements. The QMS Manager will lead audit activities, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure product and process quality across the organization. Job Summary:
The
QMS Manager
will oversee all aspects of our Quality Management System, serving as the Management Representative during external audits, coordinating internal quality processes, and providing quality training and guidance throughout the organization. This individual will lead initiatives to ensure compliance, improve documentation, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Essential Functions: Manage and maintain the company’s QMS to meet AS9100, ISO 9001, and customer-specific standards.
Serve as the Management Representative and primary liaison for external certification bodies and customer audits.
Lead internal audits and coordinate external and regulatory audits.
Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), root cause analysis, and follow-up activities.
Conduct management reviews and track quality objectives.
Develop, maintain, and revise quality procedures and documentation.
Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure quality across the product lifecycle.
Oversee document control and quality record retention processes.
Deliver training and raise quality awareness across departments.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
5+ years of experience in aerospace or high-reliability manufacturing quality management.
Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and applicable regulatory standards.
Certified Lead Auditor (AS9100 or ISO 9001) preferred.
Proficiency in quality tools and systems (e.g., 8D, FMEA, Six Sigma, QMS platforms, ERP).
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Desired Skills / Qualifications:
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
Experience with FAA, EASA, or DoD quality requirements.
Familiarity with PPAP, APQP, and statistical process control (SPC).
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Master’s degree preferred.
