Job Title: Project Manager

The role of the Project Manager is to manage and directly supervise the entire construction process of a project from the initial stages of construction drawings to project completion. We are seeking an experienced professional with hands-on experience in commercial (preferably hotel) ground-up construction projects to oversee various projects that are currently under construction or in design. In this role, you will work with various hotel brands, including Marriott and Hilton. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Managing the labor function for all projects, including construction agreements, oversight of general contractors, project visits, and follow-up. Managing all aspects of the construction process. Reviewing and assessing plans for design, architectural, structural, etc. Reviewing bids from subcontractors and negotiating contracts. Coordinating trades/subcontractors and assessing workmanship. Collaborating with management and design teams. Communicating and following up with management, clients, subcontractors, and designers. Conducting regular and detailed site visits to monitor progress. Working with interior designers or others to review shop drawings and provide measurements or other information as needed. Monitoring the progress, activity, and quality of work of all installers on-site. Providing regular feedback and updates based on site visits regarding project progress. Inspecting job sites and signing off upon project completion. Maintaining the project budget and ensuring all work is completed as planned. Willingness to drive to the site as needed. Project Manager Qualifications

Minimum of 1-3 years of related experience in construction project management. Experience in hotel construction is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills with internal teams, consultants, and contractors. Proficiency in technology, including Office 365 programs. Strong organizational and negotiation skills. Experience with new commercial construction projects. Ability to manage multiple projects and crews of varying sizes and complexities. Familiarity with all relevant building codes, regulations, and best practices related to hotel construction. Organized and personable. Ability to read and interpret construction plans. CA State Contractor’s license and cabinetry expertise are a plus. Benefits and Perks
