Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Fort Pierce, FL Employment Type:
Full-Time, Permanent Schedule:
8-hour shifts (Days, Evenings, Rotating Weekends) Shift Options:
6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Compensation:
$30.34 – $42.47/hour (based on experience) Sign-On Bonus:

Overview We are seeking a skilled
Nuclear Medicine Technologist
to join a high-performing imaging team in a large acute-care hospital setting. This role offers diverse scheduling, competitive pay, and the opportunity to grow in a collaborative and patient-centered environment. Responsibilities Perform nuclear medicine procedures utilizing ionizing radiation in accordance with ALARA standards.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain nuclear medicine equipment to ensure quality imaging and patient safety.
Prepare and administer
radiopharmaceuticals,
ensuring accurate dosage and safety protocols.
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain detailed and accurate patient and procedural records in compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
Required: Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
Active State Registered Radiologic Technologist license
Certification by
ARRT (Nuclear Medicine)
or
NMTCB
BLS (within 30 days of hire)
ACLS (within 30 days of hire)
Preferred: Prior experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in an acute care setting
Strong communication and patient-care skills
