Overview: The Senior Accountant plays a critical role in managing financial integrity and supporting organizational growth. This position is responsible for leading key aspects of the month-end close process, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and delivering accurate, timely financial analysis to inform strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate brings advanced analytical expertise, strong leadership qualities, and a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles to drive accuracy, efficiency, and financial performance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
(Includes the following, other duties may be assigned) Primary Responsibilities : Assist in month end close, preparation and posting of journal entries, bank reconciliations and account reconciliations in accordance with GAAP Reconcile intercompany transactions between entities including international Maintain and review general ledger, reconcile balance sheet accounts Prepare and maintain amortization schedules for intangible assets and deferred costs Treasury support – positive pay, ACH/Wires, and cash management Fixed Asset management-asset, disposal, transfer tracking, depreciation and capitalization compliance Manage rental leases, payments, lease amendments and lease accounting in accordance with ASC842 File annual reports and surveys, resolve tax notices as needed Assist in year-end audits with external CPA firm and bank Work closely with other internal departments and outside organizations as needed Assist in Financial reporting and variance analysis Additional duties as necessary and assigned Education And/or Experience:

Minimum Qualifications: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software Bachelor’s degree in accounting 3+ years of accounting experience CPA required Organized, meticulous, and accurate Ability to problem solve, work independently, and multi-task Ability to prioritize tasks to meet critical deadlines Must be initiative-driven and able to work under pressure Excellent work ethic with a willingness to work the hours needed to accomplish position expectations Advanced computer skills Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years in accounting experience Public accounting background Master’s degree Advanced knowledge of Excel, including Pivot Tables and V-lookup functions Good knowledge of accounting systems; NetSuite experience a plus
