The

Floor Manager

plays a vital role in leading the Front of House (FOH) team, ensuring seamless daily operations, and delivering an unparalleled guest experience. This individual is a hands-on leader, dedicated to upholding service standards, fostering team engagement, and ensuring every detail of the dining room is executed to perfection. Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise FOH staff during service to maintain MIKA’s standards of excellence.

Ensure smooth daily operations, including staff punctuality, table assignments, and shift organization.

Conduct pre-shift lineups to communicate menu updates, service notes, and guest expectations.

Actively engage with guests to ensure satisfaction, resolve issues promptly, and build relationships with regular clientele.

Collaborate with the AGM, GM, and culinary team to align on service flow and guest experience.

Oversee opening and closing procedures for the dining room.

Monitor cleanliness, organization, and readiness of FOH areas at all times.

Support training and development of team members, reinforcing service standards and operational procedures.

Assist in scheduling, payroll management, and labor cost control.

Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Lead by example with a floor presence that is attentive, polished, and guest-focused.

Qualifications

Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory or management experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and coach staff.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Guest-first mindset with a refined sense of hospitality.

Knowledge of Italian cuisine and wine is a strong plus.

Organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive under pressure.

Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
